First Name, Peeing, Last Name, Man
Plywood, gemstone stud, acrylic, flame, screweye, hook

First Name, Peeing, Last Name, Man is a flat plywood cutout of a figure publicly urinating, created to examine personal freedom within public spaces. The figure is prop-like and deconstructable, able to be taken apart, relocated, and reassembled within a background of building construction, trees or fences that may provide a boundary of privacy or concealment. In encountering this work, the viewer is asked to consider their own position: as observer, participant, and someone in between.
